29th January, 2018, Chennai: In recognition of his outstanding leadership and innovative approaches for building a world class business conglomerate in India, Dr. Ramachandra N Galla, Founder Chairman, Amara Raja Group, was awarded with ‘2018 Grand Monozukuri Award for Outstanding Business Leadership’. The award was presented by ABK AOTS DOKOSAI, TN centre, by the Consul General of Japan in Chennai, Mr. Seiji Baba during the 5S Convention.
The award is the recognition of industry leaders, entrepreneurs in their respective specialized field of operations who showcases extra ordinary efforts to build the human resources in their organization, community around their industry.
The ABK AOTS DOKOSAI is the oldest Japanese language school in South India which offers Japanese management and shop floor improvement techniques training and works as a bridge between Japan and India in all spheres. ABK AOTS DOKOSAI conducts 5S competition among small, medium and large category industries, which has brought tremendous awareness to the importance of 5S not only as a productivity improvement tool, but also for strengthening community through simple approach.
