- Company records total sales of 6,108 vehicles in October 2016
Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. today reported domestic sales of 6,108 vehicles in October 2016 versus 3,246 units sold in the same month a year ago.
Commenting on the sales results, Arun Malhotra, managing director, Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd., said, “Our solid performance and overall growth of 88 per cent in October has been possible with the continued robust performance of the Datsun redi-GO and tremendous response to the recently launched redi-GO SPORT version.”
From the period between April to October of the current financial year, the company recorded overall growth of 54 per cent at 35,147 units compared to 22,180 units sold in the same period of last year, making it one of the fastest growing automobile companies’ in the passenger vehicle segment.
