Ford India Sells 13,116 Vehicles in July

• Ford India sold 13,116 vehicles in July in combined domestic wholesales and exports
• Ford India commenced bookings for its much awaited Figo Aspire across all dealerships in India

Ford India sold 13,116 vehicles in combined domestic wholesales and exports in July, compared to 15,282 vehicles in the corresponding month last year. July domestic wholesales stood at 4,362 vehicles against 7,592 units in the same month last year, while exports were 8,754 vehicles compared to 7,690 units in July 2014.

“We are excited to usher in the next phase of growth for Ford in India as we gear up to introduce 3 new products in next 9 months, beginning with the much appreciated compact sedan Figo Aspire,” said Anurag Mehrotra, executive director Marketing, Sales & Service at Ford India. “The Figo Aspire will go on sale in the middle of August and will bring more customers to the Ford family.”

Ford India started accepting bookings for the Figo Aspire on July 27 at its 341 sales outlets spread across 186 cities across the country. Customers can visit any authorized showroom to pre-book their Figo Aspire by paying a nominal amount of INR 30,000. Ford’s new compact sedan has received an encouraging response from customers and automotive enthusiasts for its head-turning design, class-leading convenience, superior comfort, best in-class smart in-car technologies as well as unparalleled safety.
