Mumbai, November 12, 2020: Hyundai Motor India Ltd., country’s first smart mobility solutions provider and largest exporter since inception, as announced, today commenced its ‘Grameen Sanitization’ drive under ‘Hyundai Cares 2.0 initiative.This month-long activity is aimed at creating a safe and secure environment for the rural community.
Hyundai ‘Grameen Sanitization’ driveis to be implemented across 292 rural locations across India. The sanitisation drive will be initiated by Hyundai Branded Sanitization vehicles which will go around public places sanitizing the areas including sarpanch house, schools, nursing centre, rural mandis, panchayat locations and government offices.
Commenting on this initiative, Mr. Tarun Garg, Director – Sales, Marketing & Service, said, “Taking our global vision of Progress for Humanity forward, we intend to extend more support to the COVID warriors in Tier III and IV towns and villages who have actively stood up and supported the entire community during this unprecedented times. As a Responsible & Caring brand, we aim to ensure utmost safety for people and enable community welfare to fight with COVID-19 pandemic.”
In addition to this Hyundai also undertook ‘Gratification Activity‘ to honour Frontline COVID Warriors– Police officer, Health workers, Local Village Leaders who stood up to ensure wellbeing of the village community in these times of adversity.
