Mr K K Kapila, chairman, International Road Federation (IRF) and CMD, Intercontinental Consultants and Technocrats (ICT) has received Lifetime Achievement award instituted by Indian Building Congress (IBC) , an apex national body of buildings and built environment for his professional service in area of infrastructure consultancy, urban development and safer and better road engineering .
Union Minister for Urban Development Mr Venkaiah Naidu conferred the award to Mr K K Kapila during the 21st annual meet of Indian Buildings Congress (IBC) held in New Delhi last week.
Mr K K Kapila, is currently Chairman, International Road Federation, a Geneva based global body working world wide for better and safer roads and also Chairman and Managing Director , Intercontinental Consultants and Technocrats (ICT), a leading Infrastructure consultancy company having operations in 44 countries across the globe.
Mr Kapila is a chartered civil Engineer and is fellow of the American Society of civil engineers and New York Academy of Sciences.
Mr Kapila is former president of Indian Building congress and has been bestowed with over 60 national and international awards. His company ICT has bagged several best exporter awards from Government bodies.
