As part of its commitment to bring customer delight during the festival season, General Motors India today announced the addition of the ‘Burnt Coconut’ premium color option to its range. The 2016 Chevrolet Cruze, which starts at Rs 13.95 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi), is now available in a total of 7 colors.
“We are happy to introduce the new color variant of the new Chevrolet Cruze on the auspicious occasion of Holi. The ‘Burnt Coconut’ color makes the Chevrolet Cruze line-up even more vibrant and stylish. The new premium color will be available without any additional cost,” said Jack Uppal, Vice President – Marketing & Customer Experience, General Motors India.

The refreshing style and design structure of the new Cruze leaves a lasting impression with its bold and dynamic form, aggressive stance and connectivity that adds enhanced convenience for our customers.
The new Chevrolet Cruze gets updated styling and added features including the MyLink infotainment system and rear view camera. On the outside, the car features new LED daytime running lamps, chrome horizontal slats and new projector fog lamps.
The new MyLink infotainment system features a new 7-inch touchscreen with applications like internet radio, grace note & SIRI eyes free compatibility, Bluetooth audio streaming and phone telephony with voice recognition control. The vehicle’s steering wheel also gets buttons for infotainment & Bluetooth handsfree.
The Chevrolet Cruze 2016 comes with both a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission mated to the turbocharged 2.0-litre VCDi engine. The Chevrolet Cruze delivers 166 PS of undulated power with 360 Nm of torque making the driving experience simply exhilarating.
Equipped with four airbags, the new Cruze enhances safety in case of a high-impact collision. The anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic sensors provides excellent braking efficiency and shorter stopping distances, which ensures better steering control, especially on slippery surfaces.
As part of its commitment to offer new and vibrant colors to its customers, GM India recently also introduced the “Pull Me Over Red” and ‘Satin Steel Gray’ colors to the New Chevrolet Beat 2016 earlier this year.
