…giving young motorcycle racers a chance to represent India in the 2017 Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup Qualifiers, for the first time ever
In the first edition of Red Bull Road to Rookies Cup, eight motoGP enthusiasts, between the age of 13 and 17, showcased their skills with the motorbike at the Madras Motor Race track in Chennai to qualify for the race this weekend.
The seven young racers who have qualified are:
- S Varoon
- AS Alexander
- Kayan Patel
- Sachin Chaudhary
- AS Ann Jennifer
- C Senthil Kumar
- Aaron Alexander Gunawardena
The Red Bull Road to Rookies Cup programme is being held alongside the Suzuki Gixxer Cup 2016: August 11-14, and Sep 1-4, 2016 in Chennai. A first such championship for the age category of 13-17 years, all the seven kids will participate in the six races. The most talented rider will get a chance to represent India at the 2017 Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup qualifiers in Spain.
