Royal Enfield reveals Interceptor INT 650 and Continental GT 650 at EICMA Motor Show, Milan and at Royal Enfield Rider Mania 2017, in India
Reviving its rich twin heritage, Royal Enfield globally unveiled its two ground-up modern twin motorcycles – the Interceptor INT 650 and the Continental GT 650 at the EICMA Motor Show, Milan, Italy. These new motorcycles were also showcased for the first time in India at Goa during Rider Mania 2017, the biggest ever annual gathering of Royal Enfield enthusiasts. The new motorcycles have been received well among the motorcycling fraternity and enthusiasts across the globe.
Royal Enfield also showcased the Interceptor INT 650 and the Continental GT 650 at Motorcycle Live on November 20th at Birmingham, one of the most popular motorcycle shows in UK. Royal Enfield unveils its first modern 650 Twin engine developed at its UK Technology Centre
In keeping with its ambition to expand and lead the global mid-sized motorcycle segment (250-750cc), Royal Enfield, unveiled its first modern 650cc twin-cylinder engine platform at its UK Technology Centre at Bruntingthorpe proving grounds, Leicestershire. The new 650cc, air cooled parallel twin engine will power the Interceptor INT 650 and the Continental GT 650, the latest motorcycles that have been showcased at EICMA Motor Show, Milan Italy. The engine has been designed to offer the right balance between power, torque and usability so as to ensure a smooth and unintimidating riding experience. It will offer broad spread of torque which will make the motorcycle easy to ride without frequently shifting gears. The new engine has been developed from the completely from the UK Technology Centre with inputs from the Royal Enfield engineering and design teams based out of its manufacturing facilities in Chennai, India.
Royal Enfield launches Himalayan and two new colour variants of Classic in contemporary colors, at Motor Expo 2017 in Thailand
Royal Enfield launched its much awaited motorcycle, the Himalayan—purpose-built for adventure and touring in Thailand on all roads and no roads at Motor Expo 2017 at Bangkok. The Himalayan is now available for booking at the price of THB 169,000. Royal Enfield unveiled two new color variants of its bestselling motorcycle model, Classic – Royal Enfield Classic Stealth Black and Royal Enfield Classic Gunmetal Grey at the price of THB 196,800.

Royal Enfield Rider Mania 2017 | 17-19th November, 2017
Royal Enfield Rider Mania, India’s most definitive motorcycle festival, concluded on Sunday, 19th November 2017. Rider Mania 2017 was the biggest ever gathering of Royal Enfield enthusiasts and saw participation from thousands of Royal Enfield riders from India and across the world that converged at Goa to be a part of this motorcycling extravaganza. Organized at Vagator, Goa, Rider Mania 2017 was home to a host of activities, including the popular Dirt Track racing, Custom Motorcycle showcase, Trials, Long Distance Travel Forum and Maze Chase amongst other revered activities amongst Royal Enfield enthusiasts. Royal Enfield also showcased Interceptor INT 650 and the Continental GT 650 for the first time in India during the event.

Royal Enfield Scramble Rajasthan | 6th – 10th December, 2017
The third edition of ‘Scramble’, Royal Enfield’s new ride format for adventure enthusiasts is being held at Rajasthan from December 6th – 10th, 2017. With the aim of combining the spirit of motorcycling with exploration, adventure and camaraderie, ‘Scramble’ has been curated in partnership with Himalayan Motorsport to appeal to seasoned riders who have tackled fast changing conditions and terrains. The three day event tests the character and expertise that a rider possesses, however imbibing the spirit of community riding, which is a hallmark of Royal Enfield rides. With a growing interest of enthusiasts in the adventure motorcycling segment, Royal Enfield Scramble is a new initiative that encourages customers to experience adventure motorcycling in a non-extreme yet a competitive format.
Tour of Rajasthan | 15th – 24th December, 2017
Tour of Rajasthan 2017, in its 8th year, will take riders through the most spectacularly laid out stretches of roads, bejewelled with off-road and sand tracks in the largest state in India. It is a nine day ride where riders will experience the magnificence of sand dunes in Jaisalmer, camping in Sam and Jamba and visit the holy city of Pushkar. Rajasthan undoubtedly has been a favourite for every Indian and international tourist but only a fraction of them gets to experience it the rider’s way.
