Dhaka, Bangladesh, 1st February, 2017: Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) is all set to organize the first ever Indo-Bangla Automotive Show at International Convention City Bashundhara, Dhaka, Bangladesh starting tomorrow, Thursday, 2nd February, 2017.
Senior officials from Indian OEM’s, SIAM officials and partners are present in Dhaka to be a part of three day long show. Mr. Obaidul Quader, Hon’ble Minister of Road Transport and Bridges, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, will inaugurate the show at 1030 AM at the inaugural session the event on 2nd February 2017. The automotive show will be opened for General Public from 1030 AM – 0730 PM daily on 2nd, 3rd & 4th February 2017 respectively, showcasing the latest products manufactured by the Indian and Bangladeshi OEMs, along with their partners.
This event is supported by Ministry of Heavy Industries & Public Enterprises, High Commission of India, Dhaka, Bangladesh, Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA), India-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IBCCI), The Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI), Bangladesh Automobile Assemblers & Manufacturers Association (BAAMA), Bangladesh Motorcycle Assemblers & Manufacturers Association (BMAMA). Indo-Bangla automotive show is co-organised by “Samonnoy Bangladesh“. This is going to be an event of international standard in line with other events organised by SIAM.
Leading Indian and Bangladeshi automobile manufacturers like Ashok Leyland, Bajaj Auto, Eicher Trucks and Buses, Hero MotoCorp, Honda Motorcycles, Mahindra & Mahindra, Maruti-Suzuki, Runner Automobiles, SML Isuzu, Tata Motors, TVS Motors, Yamaha and their Bangladeshi partners like ACI Motors, Bangladesh Honda, Ifad Autos, Karnaphuli, Niloy Motors, Nitol Motors, Rancon Motors, Rangs Motors, Runner Motors, TVS Auto Bangladesh, Uttara Motors and more are participating in this show.
Along with the automobile and automotive companies, various government departments, dealers and service agents will participate in the event. The show will witness parallel workshops and seminars during this time where Indian industry and Government officials plan to share their experience in handling 2nd hand vehicles creating a regulatory framework and auto policy to promote vehicle manufacturers.
The motto to organise this show is not only to showcase the world class offerings from the Indian automobile manufacturers but also to share the experience of Indian Automobile industry & Government to create a thriving automobile manufacturing industry. Special activities like Safety Riding/ Stunt activities will be added attraction for Bangladeshi visitors.
Auto-enthusiasts will have a great day out at the Indo-Bangla automotive show, which will be complete with offerings from various food brands satisfying the taste buds of all visitors.
The venue International Convention City Bashundhara is scheduled to get a host of renowned food brands to cater to the varied taste of the attendees. Bringing flavours to the plate would be major quick-service restaurants from international majors Shiraz, Mainland China and to local giants like Igloo, North End and many more. The food court area has been set up within the venue.
