Launches new range of SIGNA Heavy Duty Trucks in Delhi NCR, Haryana, Western UP
New Delhi, February 16, 2017: Furthering initiatives for an enhanced customer purchase experience of its Medium & Heavy Commercial Vehicles, Tata Motors showcased over 30 different commercial vehicles solutions, from the haulage to construction, including key technologies and services, at its ADVANCED TRUCKING EXPO – ‘TRUCK WORLD’, in New Delhi. At TRUCK WORLD, Tata Motors also launched its new SIGNA range of Medium & Heavy Commercial Vehicles.
Having first showcased the new SIGNA brand of medium & heavy commercial vehicles, at the SIAM Auto Expo 2016, the new commercial vehicle brand from Tata Motors, is offered in various configurations, namely Tractors, Tipper and haulage trucks. Engineered & built to offer buyers with a modern and comfortable cabin, the new SIGNA features Tata Motors telematics system – the Tata FLEETMAN, along with proven Tata Motors aggregates, for a world-class trucking experience. On display at TRUCK WORLD Delhi, were two variants from the SIGNA range – the SIGNA 4923.S tractor and the SIGNA 4018.S tractor.
A unique initiative for commercial vehicle customers, Tata Motors kicked off the two-day expo on 13th February, 2017 at Palm Green Hotel and Resorts, Main GT Karnal Highway, Near Sanjay Gandhi Transport Nagar, Delhi, offering Tata Motors and its partners, communicative and promotional opportunities about its products and solutions, ‘all under one roof’ – a first-of-its-kind comprehensive experience by a commercial vehicle brand.

A two-day event in Delhi, we have also hosted Truck World in twelve other centers so far and plan to take the event to many other cities during the year.”

The Tata SIGNA 4923.S is a tractor offering from Tata Motors new SIGNA range of commercial vehicles. With a Gross Combination Weight (GCW) of 49000 Kgs, when coupled with suitable trailers, the Tata SIGNA 4923.S proven and reliable Cummins ISBe 5.9 Common Rail engine, delivers power of 171 KW and a torque of 850Nm, with best-in-class Fuel Efficiency and is based on proven powertrain and aggregates, like the G1150 Gearbox and RA109SRT rear axle. Empowering customers with the lowest Total Cost of Ownership, the Tata SIGNA 4923.S is also offered with multiple fully-built load body options, making the vehicle a preferred choice for transporters for various applications.
The Tata SIGNA 4018.S is a tractor offering from Tata Motors’ new SIGNA range of commercial vehicles. With a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of 40 tonnes, the SIGNA 4018.S is powered by a world-class Tata Cummins B5.9 L– 6-cylinder engine, with an optimum combination of 134 KW and flat torque of 675 Nm at lowest rpm range, delivering best-in-class fuel efficiency, with highest engine life. Coupled with a strong and sturdy chassis and vehicle aggregates, the SIGNA 4018.S is most suitable for all applications, also providing customers with the lowest Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
Having being hosted in 15 cities across India, the TRUCK WORLD: ADVANCED TRUCKING EXPO has managed to attract a crowd of over 60,000 truckers and their families, so far. Tata Motors also plans to organise TRUCK WORLD, in other trucking centers across the country.
