Strategic dealer expansion aimed to support increasing customer base
Volkswagen today inaugurated Volkswagen Thane as its authorized dealer here in Thane. Volkswagen Thane will retail all Volkswagen passenger car models currently available in the country. The announcement comes at a time when Volkswagen is witnessing an upsurge in demand for all its models across the country.
Volkswagen Thane has a capacity to display 6 cars in its showroom and a 40 bay workshop including state of art accidental repair, body paint workshop.
While gracing the inauguration Mr. Neeraj Garg, Member of Board, Director, Volkswagen Passenger Cars, Volkswagen Group Sales India Pvt. Ltd. said “We are proud to welcome Volkswagen Thane into the Volkswagen network. To ensure Volkswagen is in a strong position, we continue to invest our resources on areas like efficient supplier structure and local sales network in the country.”
With 47 dealerships, Volkswagen has already established its presence in major cities and towns in India and expects to continue expanding its reach in order to reach out to more customers.

As with every other Volkswagen dealership, Volkswagen Thane has been provided intense training in management of sales, service, spare parts and business systems to assure customers of the best-in-class pre and post sales ownership experience.
Last year Volkswagen sold 3039 vehicles across the country.
